Bridgeport Police Arrest Woman Outside City Business after Finding Meth and Other Items Inside Vehicle

According to WBOY, Bridgeport Police arrested an Elkins woman in Bridgeport on a drug charge. 
 
Officers responded to a narcotics complaint Thursday at approximately 4:15 a.m. at the Best Western Inn on Lodgeville Road in Bridgeport, officers said.
 
An officer noticed two women, including Jennifer Gump, 37, sitting in a blue Chevrolet pickup truck in the back of the hotel parking lot, according to police. 
 
While speaking with the women, an officer noticed a "methamphetamine pipe" lying in the passenger side floorboard, police said. The officers then asked the women to get out of the truck. A canine unit indicated that narcotics were inside of the truck, according to police.
