Bridgeport Police Assist in Heroin Case that Results in Man from Out of State Landing 60-Month Sentence

Nyzhon N. Bell, 19, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 70 months incarceration for heroin distribution Thursday, Acting United States Attorney Betsy Steinfeld Jividen announced.
 
Bell pled guilty to one count of “Possession with Intent to Distribute Heroin” in December 2016. Bell distributed heroin in Harrison County in May 2016.
 
Assistant U.S. Attorney Traci M. Cook prosecuted the case on behalf of the government. The Greater Harrison County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative, investigated.
 
Members of the Bridgeport Police Department serve on the Task Force. Chief John Walker is the chairman.
 
U.S. District Judge Irene M. Keeley presided.
