Bridgeport Police Bust Prostitution Ring with Help of Multiple Law Enforcement Agencies; Six Arrested

According to information from the Bridgeport Police Department, on Thursday officers from that department joined with the FBI, Greater Harrison County Narcotics Task Force, West Virginia State Police, members of the Mountaineer Highway Interdiction Team, Marion County and Granville law enforcement agencies to conduct an operation to combat prostitution related crimes within the city.
 
As a result of that activity, six individuals were arrested for prostitution-related crimes as defined by West Virginia Criminal Code and jailed that night.
 
“All agencies worked diligently in effort to combat these crimes in our community. The department would like to thank all agencies involved in making the City of Bridgeport as well as the surrounding area, a safer place for our citizens and visitors,” according to the Bridgeport PD statement.
 
According to WBOY, 24-year-0ld Ryan Andrew Vigilanco was one of the six arrested. He was charged with first degree pimping. WDTV is reporting that Faatima Jones of Fairmont, Amber Merrifield of Salem, Tracy Cameron of Clarksburg and Kayla Anderson of West Milford, and Aisha Jones of Fairmont were all arrested at the Best Western Hotel.
