By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on November 12, 2014 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

On Nov. 9, a combined investigation involving Bridgeport Police, F.B.I., Greater Harrison County Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, West Virginia State Police, MHIT South, Three Rivers Drug Task Force, Fairmont Police Department, and Granville Police Department resulted in the arrest of six individuals at The Best Western Hotel in Bridgeport for prostitution-related crimes as defined by West Virginia Criminal Code.

The Best Western Hotel was not involved in the arrest. The management of The Best Western Hotel became a partner with law enforcement officers in the proactive investigation which targeted individuals who placed on-line ads and were not customers of  the hotel, where the investigation concluded with the arrest.

The investigating agencies express their greatest appreciation to The Best Western staff and management who partnered with law enforcement officers and allowed their facilities to be used in an effort to keep the community safe.
