The Bridgeport Rotary Club had their October luncheon meeting at the Bridgeport Country Club on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.  President Bradley Ford welcomed into membership Claire Sellers, attorney of Willow Legal Advisors in Bridgeport and Pastor Stanley Lacey, clergy at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Clarksburg.  They officially received their Rotary pins from their sponsors Sarah Bohan and Pastor Robin Ray.

The Bridgeport Rotary Club remembered October with being drug awareness month.  The program was provided by Mr. Scott Kapp who shared his family’s journey with their son Zac’s addiction and passing on March 16, 2021.

Upcoming activities for the Bridgeport Rotary Club include:  October 23, 2021 Putt Putt for Polio as the Bridgeport, Clarksburg and Fairmont Rotary Clubs compete in miniature golf to raise monies for Rotary Polio Plus program.  October 29, 2021 Rotary Punt, Pass and Kick for $5000.  Ticket sales for this competition are assisting the press box fundraiser.
