Bridgeport Woman Indicted by Doddridge Grand Jury on 12 Counts of Public Record-Related Forgery

A Bridgeport woman was among 14 individuals indicted last week by the July 2018 edition of the Doddridge County Grand Jury in information relased to the media from the office of Prosecutor Brooke Fitzgerald.
According to the information, 32-year-old Carrie Jean Wiant was indicted on forgery of a public record or certificate in a case against her from the State of West Virginia. She was indicted on 12 counts.
Wiant, including the other 13 individuals who have been indicted by the Grand Jury in Doddridge County are presumed innocent until proven guilty. An Indictment is merely an accusation.
