It's another week for WDTV's "Tasty Tuesday" report and for those living in Bridgeport or visiting, here's a profile on one that is roughly 13 miles from Bridgeport. A visit to this restaurant is a short trip up Interstate 79 North and it's one many have made before.

The Poky Dot has been a staple in Fairmont since the 1950s, when it originally opened as a hot dog and barbecue stand.

"It's a fun atmosphere, colorful; the ice creams are big and the food is big," said Allison Moore, a waitress at the diner.

The diner stays true to their '50s theme with wacky, bold decorations from the time period.

"It is really colorful," said Jackie.

"I like the decorations," said Lydia.

They serve enormous portions of favorites like hot dogs, cheeseburgers, and sandwiches.

"It's fun to be here because of the food," said John.

"I really like the hot dogs," Lydia said.

In true diner fashion, they also offer breakfast all day long.

However, there's one menu item in particular that really stands out:

"The milkshakes!" said Jackie.
