City Blasting Postponed; Scheduled Now for Tuesday

FROM THE CITY OF BRIDGEPORT
Please be advised the construction activities at the site of the planned Indoor Recreation and Sports Center, located on Route 131, requires blasting. The blasting that was scheduled today (Monday, August 20) was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
Blasting has been rescheduled to occur Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at approximately 11 a.m.
There will be a blasting signal sounded three minutes in advance of detonation. Another signal will be sounded after the blaster has determined the area is “all clear” of any hazards.
The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have questions, contact the Engineering Department at 304-842-8231 today through 4 p.m. or Tuesday after 7:30 a.m.
