City Police Arrest Clarksburg Man Following Wreck that Results in Discovery of Methamphetamine

According to WBOY, Bridgeport Police arrested a Clarksburg man on a drug charge Tuesday after responding to a vehicle accident.
Timothy Lewis, 53, told officers he was involved in a vehicle accident on Route 131 in Bridgeport that involved multiple parked vehicles, police said. Lewis told police that there were other people involved in the accident, but that they had left him.
Police said when they asked Lewis for identification, Lewis attempted reach into his bag to get it. The officer then told Lewis to stop and give him the bag for safety reasons, according to police.
