Clarksburg Family Escapes Early Morning House Fire

Clarksburg Fire crews were able to contain a fire at a home on Ryder Avenue.
Crews were dispatched just before 3:15 am.
According to the Clarksburg Police Chief, the flames likely started in the rear of the home in the kitchen area. An exact cause is not known at this time.
Heavy damage was done to the rear and interior of the home. A family was home at the time, however they were able to make it out safely.
