Clarksburg Police Confirm Man Wanted on Murder Charges has Turned Himself into Law Enforcement

UPDATE: According to Clarksburg Police Department Lt. Detective Jason Webber, 32-year-old Anthony James Williams has turned himself into police. A press release this more from the same department (shown below) reports that he is a suspect in the murder of 47-year-old Rodney Lee Long Jr. of Clarksburg.
 
Chief Robbie Hilliard confirmed at 4:50 p.m. that Williams was en route to the North Central Regional Jail in Doddridge County.

FROM THE CLARKSBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT
 
On Friday June 15, at approximately 6 p.m. members of the Clarksburg Police Department responded to an incident in the Arbutus Park section of Clarksburg.  Upon officer’s arrival on scene a male subject was found unresponsive at the scene.  Through an investigation it was determined that the male subject had been the victim of a physical attack prior to law enforcement being notified. 
 
The victim was subsequently transported to United Hospital Center by Harrison County EMS for treatment of his injuries.  It was later determined that the victim had passed away due to his injuries sustained during the attack. 
 
The victim has since been identified as 47-year-old Rodney Lee Long Jr. of Clarksburg. 
 
Police are currently searching for the suspect 32-year-old Anthony James Williams in relation to this incident.
