By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on April 16, 2015 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

According to this report from WBOY, two women convicted on drug charges in Harrison County have been arrested again.

Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Terry Moore said Angela Davis, 51, and her daughter, April Davis, 24, were arrested at a hotel in Mount Joy Township, Pennsylvania, WBOY reports. The pair were co-defendants in the case involving former Bridgeport Mayor Mario Blount.

The pair's involvement and convictions came after a long investigation by the Harrison County Violent Crimes and Drug Task Force. The initial charges with the pair, as well as the mayor, came during a press conference held by U.S. District Attorney for the Northern District of West Virginia William Ihlenfeld, II on June 3, 2014. Bridgeport Police have members on the Task Force and Chief John Walker is the chairman.
