A Bridgeport doctor, Edita Milan, was charged with supplying excessive amounts of prescription pain medication to individual for non-legitimate medicals reasons that may be linked to several drug overdose deaths. The same doctor allegedly provided the prescription drugs to dozens of individuals with known backgrounds as dealers of prescrption drugs.

 

The announcement of her arrest came today during a press conference at the Bridgeport Municipal Complex this morning. U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld II conducted a press conference.
