Create Bridgeport + Clarksburg installed the first of many little libraries Wednesday. The first little library was placed in the Margaret McCoy Community Garden on Monticello Avenue. The library was donated by Create Buckhannon, books were collected from community members in both Bridgeport and Clarksburg.

 

We encourage you to go visit the garden and add books to the little library. The united technical center will be building the remaining libraries this December. The create team will install the libraries across the two communities this coming spring.

 

CREATE is focused on bringing together residents willing to dedicate their time to fostering change in our community. Create Bridgeport + Clarksburg has been meeting for 10 weeks, on Tuesday at Parkette Restaurant. The group holds one evening meeting on the last Tuesday of every month in Bridgeport at Meagher’s Irish Pub.
