In October, Chris Davisson, Donnie Davisson, Aaron Regester and Rus Reppert – collectively known as The Davisson Brothers Band – announced they had signed with producer Keith Stegall, who has taken country artists including Alan Jackson and the Zac Brown Band to the top of the Billboard charts.

The Davisson Brothers Band’s “Po Boyz” was about to be released in Australia and the band was looking forward to its March appearance at Australia’s CMC Rocks,” a music festival in Willowbank, Ipswich – sharing the stage with music icons including Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, Dan + Shay and Old Dominion.

Monday morning, the band started its journey to Aussie for the major music event which runs today through Sunday. The Clarksburg, West Virginia-based band - which intertwines country music with elements of Appalachian-style rock – is quite well known in Australia.

“The single (‘Po Boyz’) is currently top 5 on the country charts there and the video is No. 11,” said Chris Davisson about the video project which was filmed in a variety of Mountain State locations including Schmitts Saloon in Morgantown, Bella’s River Grill in Bowden and Davis & Elkins College.

“Being The Davisson Brothers Band and taking pride in where we come from – our heritage and culture and all – we kind of suggested bringing the crew to West Virginia to shoot in our environment – where we come from,” said Davisson back in October.

Earlier this year, “Po Boyz” reached No. 1 on Australia’s KIX Country Music stations in Australia. While in the country, The Davisson Brothers Band will be attending and presenting an award at the CMC Awards. Davisson said he and the guys are looking forward to walking the Red Carpet and continuing their musical journey in both Australia and the U.S.

“Po Boyz” will be released in the U.S. on March 23 and is expected to be just as hot in the musicians’ home country. Davisson plays lead guitar and slide guitar for DBB and he is joined by his brother Donnie Davisson on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Russell Reppert on bass guitar and background vocals and Aaron Regester on drums.
