It’s that time of year again – and it’s one of the big signs that the start of the school year is right around the corner. And it has nothing to do with fall sports practice sessions beginning Monday.

 

Bridgeport High School Principal Mark DeFazio has announced that new student registration will take place this coming Friday (July 28) and Monday (July 31). The registration will take place at the high school on Johnson Avenue.

 

The registration is not for students that will be at BHS coming over from Bridgeport Middle School. Instead, this registration is for new students that have moved into the Bridgeport feeder area.

 

Registration runs from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday and again on Monday. Those registering, however, need to contact the high school at 304-326-7137 and set up a time on either of those days.

 

While documents aren’t mandatory, DeFazio said having transcripts or other educational records will provide a significant assist. He also said a copy of their last report card from the previous school would be beneficial.
