The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists a Lane Closure on Interstate 79 from Mile Post 155.50 to the West Virginia/ Pennsylvania State Line began Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 3 a.m. and will run through Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 9 p.m. (24/hr).

 

The purpose for the closure is for road repair and paving.  Work will be performed on Interstate 79 Northbound Inside Lane (fast lane).  The Northbound Outside Lane (slow lane) will be open at this time.  A Lane Closure will be in place for the duration of this phase of work.  Expect delays.  Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.  Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
