There was plenty of excitement at Meadowbrook Mall last June when Peyton List of the Disney TV series "Jessie" served as special guest at the grand opening of the Connect-Bridgeport.com Kids Zone. 

 

Get ready for round two. 

 

This weekend, Aug. 29-30, the mall will host Skai Jackson of Disney’s “Jessie" and Peyton Meyer from Disney’s “Girl Meets World." 

 

"Our corporate office is picking different stars for each mall on different weekends of the month," said Brandy Anderson of the Meadowbrook Mall marketing and promotions department.

 

Leading up to that time, customers who present $100 in same-day mall store receipts at the customer service desk will qualify for a fast pass for either Jackson's or Meyer's public appearances next weekend. The fast passes will be granted while supplies last and they must be brought to the designated meet and greet. 

 

"It doesn't matter what time you get there, if you have a fast pass, you'll go to the front of the line," Anderson said. 

 

Skai Jackson will be at Sears Court 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29 to meet the public. Peyton Meyer will be at the same location 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 30. Fans are invited to come meet the stars, take photos and get autographs. 

 

Although the Disney stars typically draw children, tweens and teens, a variety of ages turned out for the June 2015 appearance of Peyton List, Anderson said. It was a pretty big event and she expects the same for next weekend's visits by Jackson and Meyer. 

 

Also on hand from 12-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 will be Miss West Virginia Chelsea Malone and 2015 Bridgeport Benedum Festival queens.
