Drug Task Force Arrests East View Man with Multiple Drugs, Gun and Cash

On Wednesday at 9 p.m., the Greater Harrison County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force executed a search warrant on Philippi Pike in the East View community.  During the course of the search, approximately 130 packages of heroin, marijuana, prescription pills, several thousand dollars in US currency and an Intratec 9mm pistol were discovered. 
 
Members of the West Virginia State Police Patrol Division, Clarksburg Police Department’s MHIT K-9 officer and members of the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) assisted in the investigation. 
 
Twenty-nine year old, Harrison County resident, Douglas “Doug” Lish Jr., was arrested for possession with the intent to distribute heroin. Lish was arraigned before a Harrison Magistrate where bond was set at $25,000 cash only. The Greater Harrison County Drug Task Force began their investigation into Lish’s criminal activity on Oct. 6 after receiving a complaint by East View area residents. 
 
A member of the Greater Harrison Drug Task Force advised that additional charges will be sought against Lish and that additional defendants are expected to be indicted for those involved with Lish’s criminal activity.
