On the heels of Spring’s arrival is the debut of the Easter Bunny at the Meadowbrook Mall. According to Marketing Director Robin Urquhart, he will first appear near Marshalls in the at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 25.

 

“The bunny will arrive on the Fun on Wheels Railroad, along with several mall store mascots,” Urquhart said. “Children can then visit the bunny and enjoy meet and greets with the costume characters and also enjoy free face painting from 10 a.m. until noon.”

 

Customers who cannot attend Saturday should have no worries. The Easter Bunny will make daily appearances at the mall through April 15.

 

“Every child visiting him will receive a free gift courtesy of Chick-fil-A at Meadowbrook Mall – while supplies last,” Urquhart said.

 

The Easter Bunny and the holiday set will be located near the Connect-Bridgeport Kids' Zone Play Area. Hours for visits are noon to 3 p.m. and 3:45-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and 3:45-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 2:30 to 5 p.m. Sundays.

 

Special activities featuring the Easter Bunny will be held April 1, April 4 and April 11.

 

On Saturday, April 1, a Caring Bunny event for children with sensory issues. Held at the Easter set, children with sensory issues and their families can visit the Easter Bunny 8:30-10 a.m. in a sensory-friendly environment.

 

On Tuesday, April 4, toddlers are invited to have milk and cookies with the Easter Bunny from 11 a.m. to noon at Chick-fil-A. The featured event – an Easter Egg Hunt – will be held 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, April 11. Both events, Urquhart said, are held in conjunction with the mall’s weekly Tuesday is for Toddlers program for children up to age 5.

The celebration of Spring continues at Meadowbrook Mall with a new Gift with Purchase promotion. From April 1-15, shoppers will receive a free pair of bunny slippers – while supplies last – when they present $50 in mall store receipts - dated April 1 or after - at the customer service center.
