Enliven Wellness Continues to Expand, Relocating to White Oaks

By Julie Perine on March 18, 2018 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

In November of 2012, Dr. James Leonette cut the ribbon on his new chiropractic business along Bridgeport’s West Main Street. The 1995 Bridgeport High School graduate said then that he liked helping others reach their full potential and seeing results of chiropractic work, a practice he learned at Palmer Chiropractic College in Iowa. He said he hoped his high-tech clinic offering state-of-the-art adjustment, healing and relaxing techniques would gather many clients who would depend upon services, which at the time were not offered at any other practice in the state of West Virginia.

That is exactly what happened.

Five years into his practice, Leonette knew he needed a bigger location to house his expanding business which now features three chiropractors and seven other staff members; an operation which has exceeded the first floor of the West Main Street building and includes various other services in addition to chiropractic care. Functional neurology, functional medicine, acupuncture, diet and detox are a few of the services which prompted Enliven Chiropractic to change its name to Enliven Wellness.

On March 26, Enliven will move into its new office space at 130 Professional Place in White Oaks.

“The trio doctor team and staff are bursting at the seams. The office space is no longer adequate for our growing demand,” said Tina Taylor, marketing manager. “The new building is in an excellent location and still being in a good place to serve the community.”

Leonette said in addition to Enliven's service menu growing to include specific chiropractic, concussion care, functional medicine, occupatinal health testing, acupuncture, the practice will soon be launching executive health coaching based on eigenitics.
"This new office will allow us to fulfill our mission to provide state-of-the-art alternative health care to residents of North Central West Virginia and the surrounding states," he said.

The new location also offers increased office space and multiple treatment rooms, allowing for a better patient flow.

“An additional benefit will be increased onsite parking allowing as well as allowing easier access for disabled patients,” Taylor said. “Not only will it provide better amenities but it will provide for additional services that will help you achieve greater level of health.”

With the increase in oil and gas production and positive word of mouth, Enliven continues to grow, offering services such as physical assessments and post-offer examinations, return-to-work evaluations, substance testing and various diagnostic testing.

“We look forward to showing you around the new practice and being able to help change your life through better health,” Taylor said.

The practice now draws upon the expertise and experience of Dr. Steven Show and Dr. Matt Mason, in addition to Leonette.
