The Harrison County Spelling Bee was held Jan. 10 at Liberty High School. The following students placed and will be participating in the North Central West Virginia Region 7 Spelling Bee, Thursday, March 14 at the College of Fine Arts, Wallman Hall, Fairmont State University.

 

1st Place   -  Ava Scolapio - Nutter Fort Intermediate

2nd Place -  Alexandrea Lipscomb - Mountaineer Middle 

3rd Place   -  Jonathan Facemire - Bridgeport Middle

4th Place   -  Ryan Shriver - Washington Irving Middle 

5th Place -    Bennett Luo - South Harrison Middle

 

Alternate is Delaney Haller of Lincoln Middle School. The Region 7 Spelling Bee will begin at 6 p.m. Registration is at 5:30 p.m.
