For those visiting the area and for those from the area that want to take a little road trip for a new culinary treat, here's this week's edition of WBOY's Restaurant Road Trip. Please visit Connect-Bridgeport every Friday morning as we will often share their report on area eateries.

 

Within the last year several shops have popped up in downtown Clarksburg, but on this weeks Restaurant Road Trip might be the sweetest shop.

 

"We spend every moment here and we hope that they feel that and they feel the love and that each cupcake that we do we really try our best. We wouldn't serve them something that we wouldn't eat. So we just want them to love it like we do," said Kaycee Crislip, co-owner, My Little Cupcake. 

 

Husband and wife duo Kaycee and Frank Crislip have been baking together for more than a decade.

 

Kaycee said, "Being able to play around with like maple and bacon and putting it into a cake form is just something we really like to do."     

In May of 2014, Kaycee and Frank created My Little Cupcake.
