Bobo Pallotta, of Fairmont, WV, wants her family and friends to know that she has arrived at the gates of Heaven, where she has always wanted to be… with her almighty Heavenly Father.

Always so full of life while on this earth, Bobo passed peacefully surrounded by her family on October 16, 2021.

Bobo was born in Fairmont, WV, on February 15, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Pete & Rosemarie Grandstaff, and the daughter-in-law of the late James V. and Ruth Pallotta.

She was a 1970 graduate of Ravenswood High School and obtained her Education degree from Fairmont State College. She taught Health and PE in the Marion County School district for a number of years.

Bobo was a trailblazer. She was one of the first women in the Fairmont community in the 1980s to operate her own aerobics studio and TV show devoted to health & fitness.

Bobo was an owner of Country Club Bakery for the past 20+ years.

Bobo’s greatest joy was her family.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Chris Pallotta; her son, Christopher (Courtney) Pallotta II; and her daughter, Misty (Adam) Rohaly. Bobo was blessed with 6 beautiful grandchildren, Rio & Simon Rohaly, Audrina, Apollonia, & Seraphina Pallotta, and Mecca Petersen. Bobo was close with her two brothers, Frank (Judy) Grandstaff of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Rev. Billy Joe (Sharon) Grandstaff of Fairmont.

She was adored by several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Bobo was a long-time member of Trinity Church, and most recently, Covenant Church. She was a mighty prayer warrior and absolutely loved the fellowship she had with her Wednesday morning Bible study group.

Bobo’s fun loving, energetic, one-of-a-kind personality will be deeply missed. She was so full of faith, love and laughter towards everyone she met, and she touched the lives of so many with her joyful spirit.

Bobo, Chris and her close family spent much time traveling together to their condo in Myrtle Beach, SC, and they enjoyed taking an annual trip to the Dominican Republic each winter, but her absolute favorite place to be was her summer camp on the Tygart River, where countless wonderful memories were made.

Bobo was a strong woman – strong physically and strong in her faith – she lived life in abundance, overflowing with exuberant praise for her heavenly Father and the deepest love for her earthly family & friends.

Her beautiful legacy lives on in all who were blessed enough to know her. To know Bobo, is to love her. She was simply THE BEST.
