Frank Sinatra Tribute Show Starring Tony DeSare Coming to FSU to Perform with West Virginia Symphony Orchestra

The Fairmont State University Department of Music is excited to announce that award-winning composer and Top 10 Billboard Jazz artist, Tony DeSare, will perform a tribute to the music of Frank Sinatra with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra (WVSO) on Monday, February 11, at 7:30 p.m. in Colebank Hall on the Fairmont State University main campus.
 
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, DeSare and the WVSO will deliver a modern take on beloved Sinatra hits, such as “Fly Me to the Moon,” “One for My Baby,” “Luck Be A Lady,” “Witchcraft,” and “My Way.” 
 
Named a Rising Star Male Vocalist in Downbeat Magazine, DeSare has lived up to this distinction by winning critical and popular acclaim for his concert performances throughout North America and abroad. From jazz clubs and Carnegie Hall to Las Vegas headlining with Don Rickles and major symphony orchestras, DeSare brings his fresh take on old school classics around the globe. DeSare has been featured on the CBS Early Show, NPR, A Prairie Home Companion, and the Today Show.
