GALLERY: Fire Captain Randy Scott Retires; Honored With Reception

Bridgeport Fire Captain Randy Scott has retired after 18 years of service with the Bridgeport Fire Department. Before coming to Bridgeport to work as a firefighter and paramedic, Scott served 13 years in Lumberport and 10 years in Maryland. For his dedicated service, Scott was honored Tuesday with a reception at Bridgeport Fire Department. Representatives of the department, city administration and Bridgeport Emergency Services shared words about Scott and his selfless service, as did coworkers and other area professionals, including his twin brother Rick Scott, Clarksburg fire chief. Also dropping in was HealthNet 6 out of Buckhannon. Scott was presented with various gifts in appreciation of his longtime service.
