Gallery: First Day of Summer Stroll Down Main Street

Today officially marks the start of summer and signs of the season are found across Bridgeport's Main Street. Flowers are flourishing, business owners are sprucing up their properties and folks are enjoying the great outdoors at their favorite downtown hot spots. At Bridgeport Fire Department, hoses are being tested to make sure they can withstand ultimate use and are in prime working condition. And as is typical for summer, temperatures are soaring into the upper 80s. Inside the Civic Center, Bridgeport Parks and Recreation was hosting a Harry Potter day camp and a Little Explorers safari.
