The Harrison County Community Educational Outreach Service organization has selected its leadership team for the 2016 year.

 

Connie Wolfinger, a member of the Sycamore CEOS, will serve her third term as county president. The vice president will be Karen Blocker, a member of the Sardis Sunflowers CEOS club. Patty Post, a member of the Sycamore CEOS club, will continue as the county secretary, and Charlene Burrows, a member of the Lady Bugs CEOS club in Nutter Fort, will serve as the county treasurer.

 

Cynthia Wotasek, a member of the Friendly Neighbors CEOS club in Lost Creek, will serve as the past president/board advisor.

 

New committee chairs for 2016 are Delores Wilson, who will head the Purposeful Reading Committee, and Debbie Crim, who will be the county’s Health Motivator. Others continuing to serve as committee chairs include Family Committee chair Cheryl French, Continuing Education chair Ladonna Tucker, Membership and Marketing chair Dawn Grow, Scrapbook chair Barbara Leatherman, and Celebrate Volunteer Hours chair Carolyn Romine.

 

The 2016 officers and the new committee chairs were installed by West Virginia University Extension Agent Becky Smith during the November of the County Council. She used the theme “Keys to Unlocking Success” for the ceremony. Each officer and committee chair was given a ceremonial key and a treasure chest that contained “tools” for leadership.
