The 5th Annual Harrison County Schools College and Career Fair will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, at Lincoln High School. All high school students and parents are welcome to attend.

In attendance will be more than 50 College and Career Fair representatives, along with high school counselors. Also scheduled are FAFSA and Promise Scholarship presentations. The sessions will last 15 minutes, giving attendees plenty of time to visit with the Colleges and Career representatives.

Colleges from all over the state will be represented, offering information about the college, classes, student life and much more, before students make a road trip to the actual campus.  Included will be Concord University, University of Charleston, RCB Aerospace Center, Alderson Broaddus University, WVU, Wheeling Jesuit, and many more. There will be several out-of-state colleges as well, including Point Park University, Marietta College, Alabama University and University of New Haven.

If the student is looking for a career opportunity, there will also be all the branches of the military in attendance, along with Bombardier Aerospace, McDonalds and others.

Last year was a huge success with 300 students attending. Students will have opportunity to win door prizes and a $500 cash scholarship at the end of the fair.
