Harrison County Structure Fire Levels Local Home and Sadly Results in Dog's Death; Family is Safe

According to WDTV, residents are safe after being trapped in their home during a structure fire.
Crews responded to a home on Mt. Clare Road in Clarksburg around 4:17 a.m. Thursday.
Six fire departments were on the scene, along with the Harrison County Emergency Squad Department.
Officials say the family made it out safely, but a dog died in the flames.
A cause is not known at this time.
