A restaurant that has been in operation for the past 17 years closed for good on Monday, according to its operator. On the Audia's Restaurant Facebook page, Michael Audia II posted a live video thanking everyone for helping the business go on for as long as it did and asked others to continue to help small businiess in the area.

 

Last year, Audia's Family Restaurant received more than just local attention. The eatery received national attention when it was featured as part of the show Restaurant Impossible, which utilizes the time of local professionals and a $10,000 budget to redo restaurants.

 

Audia's Family Restaurant was located in the former Dave's Restaurant building in Nutter Fort and was a long-time institution in Nutter Fort.
