It's On: Grafton to Hold 154th Memorial Day Parade

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on May 06, 2021 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Although a non-public, symbolic parade was held last year, due to COVID-19 the annual Grafton Memorial Day Parade that draws one of the biggest crowds in the area did not take place. The symbolic parade allowed the streak of more than 150 continuous years to continue.

The question is will it take place this year?

According to the Facebook Page Memorial Day Parade Grafton W.V., it will take place. The parade will be held at 10 a.m. on May 31. The parade route will be similar, and officials are asking that individuals that attend to please wear a face covering.

The route will remain the same as in past years. As always, Grafton is welcoming everyone to attend the 154th edition of the parade.

Please visit their Facebook page for updates as the date moves closer. Individuals can click HERE to be taken to the page.
