Johnson Avenue State Police Traffic Stop Results in Arrest of Man with $61,000 in Meth, Heroin, Fentanyl

FROM WEST VIRGINIA STATE POLICE, SGT. R.L. GLASPELL, COMMANDER
A weekend traffic stop on Johnson Avenue by West Virginia State Police resulted in a man being arrested on drug charges.
According to the West Virginia State Police, on Saturday, Sept. 7, Trooper I. L. Bowman made the stop in question on Johnson. Bowman
identified the driver of the vehicle as, Billy Joe Keyser of Buckhannon.

During the traffic stop, Bowman located methamphetamine, fentanyl, and heroin valued at approximately $61,000.
Bowman arrested Keyser following the discovery and charged him with Possession with Intent to Deliver.
As of Monday, Keyser was being held in the North Central West Virginia Regional Jail in Doddridge County
