Johnson Elementary Releases Back-to-School Dates, Information

Johnson Elementary School has released important back-to-school dates and events.
During the first week of August, postcards – listing students’ homeroom teacher placements – will be mailed to the homes of students in grades 1 through 5. Also to be released during the first week of August is traffic pattern information.
Aug. 1: From 8:30 a.m. through 12 noon is new student registration. (Watch for parking information to be posted on Connect-Bridgeport prior to that time.)
Aug 11: Kindergarten parent orientation will be held at 5 p.m. for the parents of children entering kindergarten. Students should not attend. Kindergarten class placements will be announced and classroom visits will be scheduled.
August 14: Open House for Students in Grades 1 through 5 will be held between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. Please note: Kindergarten classrooms and teachers will not be available.
August 15 is the first day of school for grades 1 - 5
August 21 is the first day of school for kindergarten students.
