Johnson Elementary Releases Beginning-of-Year Events for August

Although summer vacation in in full swing, Johnson Elementary School has already released a list of its beginning-of-the-year events. For those those who like to plan early, here's what's on tap starting in August.
The First Week of August
Student Homeroom Placement Post-Cards Mailed to Students in Grades 1-5
August 2
8:30 AM - 2:00 PM
New Student Registration
For any new students in grades K-5 that have moved into the Johnson Elementary School area.
Parents must provide two proofs of residency along with a child’s birth certificate and immunization records.
August 7
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
PTA Back-to-School Pool Party
Clarksburg Splash Zone
August 11
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Open House for Grade 1-5
August 15
6:00 PM
Kindergarten Parent Orientation
An informational meeting for parents only.
August 16, 17, 18, or 19
8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Individual Kindergarten Classroom Visits
Appointment times are scheduled during Kindergarten Parent Orientation.
