Korean War Veteran, Long-time Owner of Business in Harrison County, Robert Carlos Price, Passes at 85

Robert Carlos Price, Sr., 85, of Mount Clare, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at Bridgeport Health Care Center. Bob was born on November 29, 1935, in Fireco, West Virginia, the son of the late Simon and Viola Dunn Price.
 
Bob served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was owner and operator of Pro-Transmission. His hobbies were playing guitar, listening to music, especially Johnny Cash, fishing and tinkering on cars. He was a member of the Clarksburg Church of the Nazarene. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and especially the family’s fur baby, Bubba Dog.
 
Bob is survived by three children, Angela Maria Lafferty and Jason, Nutter Fort, Josh Price, and girlfriend, Peggy Shaughnessy, Mount Clare, and Darren Propst and Robin, Winston-Salem, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Emily Lacaria and Christopher, Hannah Palmer and fiancé Anthony Podesta, and Dylan Price; three great-grandchildren, Annabeth, Aidan and Hendrix; two brothers, Thomas Price and Sherry, Cleveland, Ohio, and Ronald Price, Roanoke, Virginia; sister-in-law, Sharon Price, Lost Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
 
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Imogene Sloan Price, in 2014; two sons, Phillip Thomas Price and Robert Carlos Price Jr; two siblings, Margaret Nelson and Daniel Price, and two in infancy.
