FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, DISTRICT 4 OFFICE

 

The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be a Lane Closure on WV 279, Jerry Dove Drive from Mile Post 0.44 to Mile Post 1.43 beginning on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 6:30 a.m. through Friday, October 18, 2019 at 6 p.m. (24 hr/day).   

 

The purpose for the closure is to address base repair areas, milling and paving.  There will be an 11 foot lane width restriction.

 

Work will be performed on WV 279, West Bound Lane. The East Bound will be open at this time. 

 

A Lane Closure will be in place for the duration of this phase of work.  Use caution and expect delays.  Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.  Please note inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
