This is last call for ABB member businesses wishing to send representatives to the organization’s fall meeting, to be held Thurs., Oct. 22 at Bridgeport Conference Center. Keynote speaker will be Jim Matuga, founder and president of Inner Action Media.

 

Matuga – who specializes in marketing consulting, digital marketing, content strategy, brand and content marketing, search engine optimization, social media marketing, email marketing and advertising – is also a blogger and published author. In January, he released “Marketing Matters: Your Guide to Getting More Customers and Increasing Revenue. The 27-chapter book is available for purchase on Amazon.com. It takes business owners step-by-step through developing a marketing strategy and teaches them how to implement it. The book was inspired by his regular column in the State Journal. Matuga also hosts a weekly podcast, “Positively West Virginia” on iTunes, Spotify and Google Play.

 

Matuga has served as Director of Strategic Services for BTA, Inc.; Vice President and General Manager for West Virginia Media, WBOY; Director of Sales and Marketing for The Dominion Post and General Manager for Rutter Communications. His education was obtained at West Virginia University, where he studied Journalism and Advertising. He is a Gold Certified Partner of HubSpot, serves as Chairman of the Board for PACE Enterprises, Inc.; President of Rotary International and head coach of Miracle League Baseball.

 

Thursday evening, Matuga will share strategies for successful business during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

The evening begins with social time at 5:30 p.m., followed by Matuga’s remarks and other business matters of the Associated Businesses of Bridgeport. 

 

There is no charge for member business representatives to attend. The evening is sponsored by Rominger Dental and the Greater Bridgeport Convention & Visitors Bureau.
