Lincoln High School Back to Code Green After Several Units of Law Enforcement, Including Bridgeport, Respond to Alleged Threat

UPDATE as of 1:45 P.M.: Lincoln High School is now back to code green after a threat sent both schools into lockdown early Wednesday morning.
 
Shinnston police say a threat was reported via the “Safe Schools” app. They do not know at this time whether it is connected to threats from earlier this week.
 
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, Shinnston Police, Bridgeport Police, Harrison County SWAT, and State Police all responded to the scene.
 
 
ORIGINAL POST: After a threat scare Monday, Lincoln High School is under a precautionary code yellow today, according to the Harrison County Board of Education.
 
The board of education says the school was put on a precautionary lock down Wednesday morning, meaning no one can enter or leave the school. Authorities on scene are sweeping lockers.
 
Students are safe, according to the board of education. An automated message was sent out to all parents.
