Little Lamb's Closet on its Way to Heritage Christian

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on October 26, 2020 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Heritage Christian School is proud to announce a special TOY & Baby Gear consignment sale to be held in the gymnasium at Heritage Christian School on Saturday, October 31. Come witness the school gymnasium turned into an upscale kids’ storefront. The school is located in the heart of Bridgeport, WV, at 225 Newton Avenue.

Little Lambs Closet children’s consignment resale event is a pop-up one day event where moms sell and buy gently used kids’ toys and baby gear. Consigning families prepare their gently used children’s toys and baby gear and then drop these items off at Heritage Christian School.
Shoppers score amazing deals for their growing kids.

Consignors generally price their items at 60-80% off retail! Hundreds of consignors and thousands of items means variety. Little ones grow  so fast that many items never get touched! Little Lambs Closet makes every effort to only accept quality items without blemishes or excessive wear, so you'll know your selection is exceptional! Expect many different brand names, multiples of items, and a span of age specific toys.

Unlike yard sales, you won't be sorting through boxes or piles. We sort our items by gender and use. Each item has a tag with a bar code with a description and price. The bar code is scanned when the shopper checks out much like you'd find in a retail store! Our consignors’ proceeds are recorded.

Buy a gift for that new baby in your neighborhood. Start shopping for Christmas. Have a birthday coming up? There will not be any clothing or shoes at this special TOY & Baby Gear Sale. We will have toys, gaming systems, books, movies, strollers, exersaucers, and potty chairs.

We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and Discover, including any debit cards which have the Visa, MC or Discover logo. It is suggested that you bring your own bags and totes to help you get your purchases home.

NOTE FROM HCS: Consignors have the option of donating their leftover items to area ministries.  With Christmas right around the corner, these items will be a blessing to these ministries and those they serve. The Little Lambs Committee also donates a tithe (10%) of the proceeds to area nonprofits that benefit children and families.

The Little Lambs Closet Steering Committee plans on following the same Covid guidelines that retail stores follow - masks, social distancing, disinfecting stations, and limiting the number of shoppers in the gym at one time.
