WDTV is reporting that a child was taken to United Hospital Center Wednesday night after nearly drowning in a hot tub.

The incident occurred on Sunset View Drive in Flemington.

Emergency crews were able to help stabilize the child and take them to the hospital.

Officials could not confirm the condition of the child at this time.

The Bridgeport and Flemington Fire Departments responded to the call, along with Flemington EMS, the Grafton State Police detachment, and the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office.
