PLUS Model Magazine is looking for two models to feature on its glossy digital magazine cover and Angela Goldsmith is in the running. The 37-year-old Lost Creek mother has entered the everyBODY Model Search Contest, open for voting through May 23. The top three contestants in each category – 1X-3X and XS-XL – will at that time be named semifinalists. From those semifinalists, a panel of judges will chose one woman from each category who will be flown to New York City and featured in a cover fashion shoot for the September 2016 Fall Fashion issue. Winners will also win a MarlaWynne wardrobe. Each semifinalist will win an outfit by MarlaWynne and a makeover kit by Bobbie Thomas. Among judges are Gwen Devoe, founder and CEO of Full Figured Fashion week, who is a former plus model who specializes in plus model training and has increased visibility of fuller figures on fashion runways. Goldsmith said she was raised on the principal of “It’s what’s on the inside that counts.” She said she has grown to understand just how true that statement is.

 

“True beauty radiates from the inside out,” she said. “I want to show my son and everyone else that no matter what your size or shape, you are still beautiful.”
