Main Street Motorcycle Accident Sends One to United Hospital Center

A call was dispatched just before 5:30 p.m. for a motorcycle accident on East Main Street near Oliverio's Ristorante.
According to Bridgeport Fire/Emergency Department, the motorcycle struck a pick-up truck.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to United Hospital Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pick-up was not injured.
Bridgeport Police also responded to the scene. Traffic flow was restored quickly. Law enforcement personnel have not yet been available for comment. More information will be forthcoming when it is available.
