A major fundraiser for the Humane Society of Harrison County, “Dance into Spring for the Shelter Animals” is scheduled for April 8 at Village Square Conference Center in Clarksburg. Once again, the popular event will feature the music of Rick K. and The Allnighters: Steve “The Mad Drummer” Moore, Paul Doege on bass guitar/vocals and Jimmy Hindman on lead guitar/vocals. The band’s horn section is comprised of Bob Menear, trumpet; Jeremiah Bennett, alto saxophone and Chuck White, tenor sax.

The band plays across the region, country and world, performing classic top 40, pop rock hit tunes from the 1950s through ‘90s.
Doors open at 7 p.m. with dance music from 8-11 p.m. Admission is $25 per person, $140 for a table of six or $180 for a table of eight. The dance will also offer opportunity purchase chances for various cash and prize drawings.

Hume Society Executive Director Frankie Dennison said proceeds enable the shelter to carry on its work to provide medical care for pets, feed them and place them in homes.

“We cannot continue helping these animals unless we have the funds to do so,” she said. “So any support for our fundraisers is greatly appreciated.”

Table reservations and tickets can be purchased at www.hshcwv.org or calling 304-592-1600. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Village Square. No outside food or drink is permitted.
