Man Caught Selling Crack Cocaine in Bridgeport Pleads Guilty in Federal Court

Mario Walton, a 33-year-old Homewood, Pa., native, pled guilty this week to selling crack cocaine in Bridgeport United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced today.
 
Walton faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million.
 
An investigation by the Greater Harrison County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force led to the prosecution of Walton. Assistant U.S. Attorney Zelda Wesley is prosecuting the case on behalf of the government.
 
U.S. Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull presided. The Bridgeport Police have members on the Task Force. Chief John Walker is the chairman.
