Man Serving Time for Sex Crimes Against Children is Murdered at State's Maximum Security Prison

According to MetroNews, an inmate was killed in an apparent assault Sunday evening at the state’s maximum security prison in Fayette County, authorities said.
Mount Olive Prison inmate Eugene Robert Anderson, 66, and serving for sex crimes involving children, was attacked by one or more fellow inmates in an outdoor recreation area at around 6 p.m. A makeshift weapon was discovered during the initial investigation, authorities said.
