Man Who Robbed Bridgeport Bank Enters Guilty Plea in Harrison County Circuit Court Monday

William Arney Amos, 35, of Shinnston, pleaded guilty Monday afternoon in Harrison County Circuit Court to a felony count of robbery in exchange for having one count of making threats of terrorist acts, conveying false information concerning terrorist acts and committing terrorist hoaxes dropped by the state. Amos robbed two banks, including on in Bridgeport.
 
Amos was arrested July 31 by, the Bridgeport Police Department, in conjunction with the Fairmont Police, West Virginia State Police, FBI, and ATF. The local arrest was the result of a robbery of the Bridgeport White Oaks, Huntington Bank on July 7.
