By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on December 13, 2019 via Connect-Bridgeport.com

Students of Johnson Elementary, Bridgeport Middle School and Bridgeport High School stepped outside of class for a few minutes this morning to welcome the Wreaths Across America truck to town.

Entering the city on Johnson Avenue, the rig was hauling 1,600 pine wreaths which will be placed on every military gravesite at Bridgeport Cemetery. The ceremony is set for noon sharp, Sat., Dec. 14.

Serving as an escort was the Vietnam Vets/Legacy Vets MC, pictured below with Christa Parker and Tricia Bombardiere of Wreaths Across America Team Bridgeport.
