FROM THE MORGANTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

 

On May 5th, 2017, Officers of the Morgantown Police Department initiated an investigation for a reported missing person. The person reported missing as David M. Thompson, 23 years of age currently residing in Morgantown. Thompson was originally from California and was reported missing by family members from California.

 

Officers and Detectives of the Morgantown Police Department actively investigated the incident to locate Mr. THOMPSON. On May 23, 2017, Thompson was located by authorities in Mexico. Thompson is currently being detained by Mexican authorities awaiting his deportation to the United States.

 

This concludes the investigative efforts in this case.Thompson will be returned to his family with the Assistance of the State Department in the very near future.
