Mountain State Storm Volleyball Club is halfway through an excellent season. This past weekend, 9 of their 11 teams attended Leprechaun Blitz, a two-day tournament in at Spire Institue in Geneva, OH. 

 

Storm not only attended the tournament but left with quite a bit of Gold. 14 Lightning finished 1st Gold with a record of 7-0. 12 Lightning and 13 Lightning both finished 5-1 to bring home 2nd Gold. 16 Lightning finished 5-1 to bring home 3rd Gold. 13 Rain finished 4th Gold, 14 Thunder finished 7th Gold. 

 

A few teams finished in the Silver bracket but placed high in the bracket. 15 Rain finished 2nd, Silver which was 10th overall (23 teams total), 14 Rain finished 13th (out of 26 teams total), 16 Rain finished 14th (24 teams total). 

 

You can see these athletes in action right here in Bridgeport this Saturday and Sunday for the 304 Showdown. March 23^rd, the 12s and 13s teams will be playing all day and March 24^th, you can catch the 14s and 15s in action.
